8 Best things to do in New Zealand

New  Zealand is jam-packed with a million things to do. If you are an adventure freak, you can opt for the most dangerous bungee jumping, or skydiving. If not simply sit back and enjoy the serene peace it offers.

1.Queenstown:

Queenstown promises the most beautiful vistas in the world. It sits beside Lake Wakatipu surrounded by the Alps. You can just sit back and inhale its beauty.

2.Skydiving, Lake Wanaka

Sky diving has been in my bucket list for quite sometime ( I even used to wonder if I will ever get to experience it). As I walked in to Skydive Wanaka, heart beating with excitement, not a bit nervous I assure you. They had videos guiding us as to how to jump off a plane!! I decided to ignore, as I wanted to digest the whole experience as a load of surprise. And a SURPRISE it was!!

I jumped off an airplane!! And the next thing I knew was, I was FLYING!!

The feeling was amazing. Inhaling a breath of freedom. Gasping at God’s perfect creation. It reminded me of how small we were, smaller than an iota in this vast globe; a speck on earth. Be humble because this is all we are.

This place is ideal for hijabis as they allow you to wear your hijab as a turban and wear the helmet over. I was also given the option of strapping myself into a woman.

Laugh at your fears and waive them goodbye and Say hello to new adventures because….

The best part of life is only on the other side of fear.

3.Zorbing Rotorua:

Roll your afternoon away with Zorb Rotorua. I was inserted into a Zorb (a giant balloon) and rolled over from top of the mountain. I understood what life inside a washing machine would be like. It boosts your adrenaline and makes you want to go again and again.

4.Waitomo caves:

This is an underground adventure. It is a boat tour that is surrounded by a labyrinth of caves. This place is a glowworm habitat. They twinkle like a million stars underground. It feels as if your floating in a different world. This place promises the wonders of God’s creation.

5.Hobbiton:

Walk into the Shire- only if you’re a fan of Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit Trilogies!! Well not really because the view alone is impeccable. So anyone would fall in love with the place

The 12 acre farm originally belonged to the Alexander family. Sir Peter Jackson fell in love with the farm and decidd to make his magical movie at the Alexander farm.

Each hobbit hole is duplicated: A giant and a miniature version.

6.Sulphur Spa:

Hell’s Gate Sulphur Spa, where the pools are bubbling with sulphur and erupting waters. I was told that the md bath enhances the softness of your skin. It also increases blood circulation ad aids in your well being. It honestly did refresh and revitalize me. I walked out enlivened.

7.Te Hana Te Ao Marama:

Who would leave New Zealand without watching the Haka? This is a traditional Maori village, boasting their rich culture. A place where you can experience an authentic Maori experience.

8.Auckland:

Auckland is the main city in North Island where you can save for a shopping spree.

  2. Thanks for your blog post. A few things i would like to contribute is that computer system memory needs to be purchased if the computer is unable to cope with that which you do with it. One can set up two good old ram boards containing 1GB each, as an illustration, but not one of 1GB and one of 2GB. One should make sure the company’s documentation for the PC to be sure what type of memory is required.
